"I
got the bookmarks and postcards yesterday - they look fantastic!!! And I
got them in plenty of time for my conference next week. Thanks for all of
your help and for being so easy to work with. As a first-time author, I
really appreciate it!"

| What we
need to design your postcard: |
|
Please
submit book covers, author photos, or other graphic as a zipped email
attachment.
|
|
All
graphics must be a high resolution for good print quality. Resolution:
300 dpi or better (Not sure of resolution, send us the file and we
will let you know if it is usable.) |
|
Preferred
file format: Best choice: Full PDF's of cover art available from
your publisher on request. (Also
acceptable: .PSD, JPG, TIF) |
| Please
include the text for your postcard within the body of an email or in a
Word or RTF file. Suggested text: Author Brand or Tag Line, Author
website, Book title, Author name, Publisher, ISBN, Teaser line about the
book, Short blurb (about 100 words), A few review quotes about the book,
Return address if using. |
| Format
for submitting your own design: |
|
.....Images
must be sent in one of the following formats: .TIF, .PSD, .PDF or some .JPG's.
.....Resolution
- 350 DPI or better [Resolution is very important for the quality of
printing]
.....Color
Format: CMYK
.....Bleed:
Please leave 1/8 inch around your
entire document. This will enlarge the document size you submit by .25
inch (1/8 on each side) and will be cut off after printing.
.....Images
and Text
: Please keep all text and important images (images that do not bleed)
an additional 1/8 inch inside the final cut line. This will ensure that
important images and text will not be cut off.
.....Borders
: We advise not using borders in your artwork. Borders can make even the
straightest cuts look crooked. |
